SAP Test Automation Engineer
End-to-end SAP process automation with Tricentis Tosca — SAP GUI, Fiori, interfaces and IDocs — in programmes we are often brought into on SAP's own invitation.
Why this role exists
Evidence that the system still does what it did before.
S/4HANA programmes fail at the same point again and again: the processes are modelled, the migration plan exists, and nobody can say with evidence whether the system still does what it did before. That is the gap we are hired to close — often on SAP's own invitation, as their testing delivery partner.
What you will do
The work.
- Automate SAP business processes end to end with Tricentis Tosca — SAP GUI, Fiori, interfaces, IDocs
- Convert manual SAP test catalogues into automated regression suites the customer can maintain
- Work along real business processes with functional teams, not around them
- Build the module base and test data concepts that decide whether an SAP suite survives the next release
- Set up distributed execution and connect it to CI/CD
- Depending on the engagement: change impact analysis, SAP Cloud ALM traceability, or agentic test creation with SAP Enterprise Continuous Testing by Tricentis
What you bring
What we look for.
- At least three years in test automation, with substantial SAP exposure
- Hands-on experience with the Tricentis suite — Tosca as a minimum, qTest or NeoLoad a plus
- Understanding of SAP business processes: order-to-cash, procure-to-pay or a comparable end-to-end chain
- ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level
- German and English at working level

Compensation
What we pay.
The minimum salary under the Austrian IT collective agreement for this position (ST2, entry level) is EUR 4,061 gross per month, paid 14 times per year, for the Vienna-based role. We pay significantly above this depending on qualification and experience. For our locations in Hungary and Türkiye, compensation follows local market conditions.
